About the Gallerist

Dunmade Ayegbayo is the founder and director of Constance and Sons Gallery. Born in Osun State, Nigeria, he grew up in an art-rich environment that sparked his interest in fine art and artistic perspectives. He graduated with a degree in Physics from the University of Ibadan.

Influenced by expressionist artist Damola Ayegbayo and his grandfather, the late sculptor Caleb Adegoke, Dunmade developed a keen interest in exploring the relationship between humans, colors, and artworks.

Professional Experience

After graduating in 2020, Dunmade served as an information manager at Victor Art and Enterprises. In this role, he collaborated with esteemed artists such as Tosin Oyeniyi, Damola Ayegbayo, and Bola Opadiran, focusing on enhancing their online presence and navigating the e-commerce art market.

In 2021, Dunmade founded Constance and Sons Gallery with a mission to elevate African contemporary and emerging artists. The gallery emphasizes fostering and expanding artists’ crafts through an e-commerce art market system, bridging the gap between traditional artistry and modern digital platforms.
