Ajegbomogun Damilola is an artist from Nigeria. He was born in March 1993 in Ibadan, Nigeria. He had his primary and secondary education in Ogun State, Nigeria. A graduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) with a B.A. Honours in Creative Art.

Growing up as an artist, he was hungry for a kind of dialogue that centered around intention, style, and feelings. He then dived into painting, and at the same time, conducted research and investigations for answers, creating works that evoke emotion so everybody can see something different.

“I think, to understand human beings is like understanding the whole of humanity.” He is very much interested in their (human) feelings in all their (human) expressions.

However, his paintings have become his best friend. “I understand the changes happening to me year by year. For a long time, I have been interested in the brush mark and how the brush mark describes the intensity of character and the idea of authenticity.”
