Gobe Joseph, an indigene of Delta State, was born in the early 90’s, Southwest, in the city of Ibadan Oyo state. He had his secondary and tertiary education in Ibadan. His interaction with different people and materials in the ancient city of Ibadan propelled him towards his artistic career.

He had participated in some exhibitions and competitions in Nigeria. These include life in my city art festival (LIMCAF). Galaxy television exhibition, (INSTINCT) a group exhibition in Ibadan, (Arnheim Collection) a group of art exhibition, (EMERGENCE) a group of art exhibition at Alexis gallery.

Being a self-thought artist with a strong interest in the relationship with nature and the immediate environment. His work is expressed in diverse media, like acrylic and oil paint. Joseph’s work portrays figures that result from meditation and artistic interpretation. His painting is expressed with vibrant images which are all delivered with a strong artistic flavor.
